What Carbix Bio does
Carbix Bio is developing AI-engineered, carbon-negative super-crops designed to address both climate resilience and food security. The company combines artificial intelligence with genetic engineering to develop crop varieties designed to capture and store more atmospheric carbon while improving resilience, yield and adaptability.
Why we invested
We invested because agriculture sits at the intersection of two defining challenges: feeding a growing population and reducing the environmental impact of food production. Carbix Bio is approaching that challenge through biotechnology, using advanced crop engineering to explore how agricultural systems can contribute to carbon sequestration while supporting productive and resilient farming.
